after about a half hour of searching. I remember in one of the many threads about the belts, two methods were prescribed to check the balance shaft belt tightness without having to use the tool. One was recommended by RS Barn, the other by somebody else. Somebody who recently replaced their belts checked the tension by both methods (maybe it was RS Barn), and found that both methods gave the same answer. Could somebody who remembers the methods please re-post them, or point me to the thread that mentioned them? I'm reinstalling my belts, and am ready to do a final check of the BS belt tension, but I didn't think I'd have this much trouble finding the info on the methods for checking the tension. Thanks!
