Ok, if you go to the weather channel site and select the "hour by hour" forecast

option, the so called a.m. showers for paso or sta barbara, or l.a. or san jose,

etc are the very EARLY a.m. - by about 6 am, all looks clear ( well, predicted to

clear..)

I'm good to go, but can we get a count for both So. and No. Cal though.. ?

Flash, how many definites, and how many maybes from your side ?

Looks like four sure bets from here, but very possibly seven total.. right guys ?

Well, I'm in if it happens -- I'll come down from NorCal in the 944. But they are calling for overnight rain on Friday night in San Jose and Hollister (means 60%-100% chance of precipitation) and showers until 11am (means 30% chance). It might clear up, but the road may be wet...

IF it holds true.. simple solution: drive slow until we get past Hollister, and step on it on the rest of the ( dry ) way to Paso

I do not expect we'll have much traffic on an early Saturday morning - low chance of some bozo slippin' and slidin' their '74 junkmobile in proximity of our babies.. as opposed to a weekday, where a million cars on the road would be a strong deterrent..

MAY BE a few sprinkles... well, I suppose we could leave the 968s in the cozy and quiet comfort of the garage, and drive this :

anyone volunteer to be the official photographer ?

thinking we might need to find top notch car wash in Paso.. if some portion of the road will be wet on the way there, the cars will be all splashed and stuff

Regretfully, Ron ( midblue ) can't make it - which is too bad for a couple of reasons - the other being to see him stop the car at five minutes intervals troughout the entire drive there so he can wipe off those pesky water spots on his car..

Wash the car!!! Yah right, I've got 163 miles just to Gilroy. I can be the photographer, just got a new camera instead of suspension. I know shame on me, where are my priorities. For God's sakes don't wash your cars, that's just asking for it.

So Greimann you have any trim rings and retaining kit for the airbox you could bring along for me to buy? Maybe I'll leave my 3rd tail light with you too if that's OK. See you @ noon.

Was the dark of the moon, on the sixth of June

In a Kenworth, pullin' logs

Cabover Pete with a reefer on

And a Jimmy haulin' hogs

We 'as headin' fer bear on One-Oh one

'Bout a mile outta Shaky-Town

I sez Pig-Pen, this here's the Rubber Duck

An' I'm about to put the hammer on down!

Cause we gotta little ol' convoy, rockin' through the night

Yeah we gotta little ol' convoy, ain't she a beautiful sight?

Come on an' join our convoy, ain't nothin' gonna git in our way

We're gonna roll this truckin' convoy, cross the USA

Convoy......
