hey d00ds thanks for the great times. This is becoming a fun little annual pilgrimage.

I took some shots and I'll post em once I have computer and camera in the same place.

Good to meet the folks I haven't before. . . Rustech and Aahz. . . and thanks Flash for the organizational effort. 'I'm not in charge!'

oh and I had the opportunity to drive the Flashmobile while I was down there. I gotta say - the suspension is sooo very nice. Very confidence inspiring. Super-sharp turn in with no roll. . . and the ride still very comfortable through the twisties around the winery. woohoo! I want one!

audio recordings ?!

were one of you guys wearing a wire and caught what I whispered to our waitress at the Crooked Kilt ?!

btw,the radar detectors in Sean's and in my car did their jobs very well , both on the run over ( mostly 85-90mph, with a very brief push to about 145 or 150 ) as well as on the return where we caravaned at a very civilized 80 mph. The signal picked up every CHP from at least about half mile ahead .

Uh... for the record: we did not do this on the highway - on the way to and from Paso we stopped at Laguna Seca raceway , which was where we exceeded the otherwise posted 65mph lmit. That's my story and I'm sure Sean can attest to this truth.

I only managed about 110 on my way back, but then again my car was loaded up pretty good. On my way down from SF to LA before the run, I tried to stay calm and civil, to stretch out my fuel usage. I managed 445 miles on 16.0 gallons!

Got lazy again. I will scan tomorrow, I swear.

Bob, sorry I didn't get to say goodbye - I realized I was planning to go home before the winery trip, just as people were leaving for the winery! I got to say bye to the stragglers like Jared, Sean, Bill B and Tom. Hey, I usually suck with names but I guess if they own 968s their names stick.

Anyway, hopefully next time I won't have to bug out early. I was meaning to ask you about your car more... I heard you say you've got about 280hp; when you have time can you send me a list of your mods? I want to start finally modding my own machine and I'd like some ideas on where to start.

Yeah no kidding! I was away for the weekend hoping to come back and look at some nice shots of various 968s in action. Then again, durring the weekend I took like 500 pictures of the wine tasting trip in Oregon, so the last thing I wanted to do when I got home was sit at the computer and go through the photos

Oregon rocks btw! What are the chances of making it a half way point for a rendezvous between us here in the great white north, and you guys down in Cali?

Yes, here is one of you attempting to dodge the camera. Wide angle, for the win!

LOL, guilty of posing also in that photo ( avatar ) but the only reason is the sunglasses color almost match my car... had those Revos way before the 968 so , no I did not buy matching shades after getting the car

That's a cool close up photo of Bob and Ayn... racing a SUV of some kind ?
