Need New Door Lock Cylinders
#1

Can anybody give me advice where I can find reasonably priced Door Lock Cylinders. Someone tried to break into my car using a screwdriver or something of the sorts. They buggered up all three locks.

Will I have to replace the ignition too if I want the keys to match?

More than likely it would be easier to replace the the ignition switch with the locks.

Try some of the dismantlers.

You could also try sunset Porsche and see if re can sell you the locks already cut to match your VIN.

I believe that a good auto locksmith could match the pins in a new cylinder or take the pins out of old cylinder and put them into a good used cylinder to match your existing key. You could do this yourself if you have some mechanical skills. New cylinder will have the chrome outer face attached. Hopefully, no inner link mechainsm damage.

Glad they did not break the glass, too.
