My new 968 cab...
#21

We are long overdue for another Bucks County fun run....I've been busy running and not much funning, but this is the best time of year to explore the Delaware Valley

Regards,

Jay

Jeff-

No special options. The car came with standard 16" wheels and the current owner purchased the new OEM 17" Cup1's because he wanted them. The wheels are in phenomenal shape- and they happen to be my favorite 17" wheel next to the 17" Sport Classics. They will stay on the cab because they look perfect to me. Never liked the 993-style Cup2s.

It is a 94 and it has the 993 style seats. So I am guessing it is a later 94? No engine bay glove holder thingy or covers like the 92/93. I know the codes and will share them and the story of how I found it once I get the car.

I just have to make it through the agonizing 11 days before I see her again!

Well, once I get it, I definitely want to show it off... Just have to see how much trouble I get into for not being around the house anymore due to driving the cab all the time!

11 days will go by quick, but seem like half an eternity.

No kidding! It's kind of difficult to focus on anything else right now.

Any you bastards better not schedule anything between now and Sept 22!

Another teaser pic (I guess they are not teasers anymore!!):

Ho-hum...

On second thought - thrilled that it worked out.

We should talk about getting together - my time in that region will be drastically reduced after September.

CONGRATS!!!

Jim-

I've been meaning to respond to your email on my home account. No worries my friend- we will still be able to get together. I've always wanted to see Watkins Glen.... No intention of taking my car out onto the track (seriously- never gonna happen), but I couldn't think of a better reason to catch up with you!

Thanks!

Jim

Yes, you have a true 1994 car since it was built in December 1993 (not a 93 reVINed with option code 718) and has the late-94 changes.

Not into the whole, I dont drive my car so I can have it clean at the concourse.

I will take a pic of the filthy girl when I get home. Has not been washed since sometime in June, and driven most everyday.

The concours is just the draw. The 968 get-together is the main event (at least for us). Hey, if nothing else, the dealer is providing lunch!!

Jim,

That's a GREAT looking cab! Call me if you tire of it soon. I'd love to see it parked in my garage next to the Guards Red coupe. The better half's Chrysler 300C would just have to stay in the driveway with the tow truck.

Thanks Mike!

Unfortunately, once that lovely lady gets to my garage, she'll not leave!

I promised my better half this was the last one....

I seriously intend to keep this gem for a very, very, very long time. In just the short test drive alone, she felt like the perfect cruiser for me.

Jim = Happy Boy!

P.S. Sorry to keep ranting on and on- I'm just too excited!
