We will definitely be attending this year. It was so awesome to meet other 968 owners last year that we'll be there rain or shine! We've booked a room at the Hilton Garden Inn, so if you're staying there, let us know! With luck, we'll have a set of proper OEM wheels on our 968 this year too! Looking forward to seeing everyone that we met last year again and folks we haven't met before for the first time.

Great Aaron!!! See you there. What rims are you looking for, the 16"s or 17"s?

Hi Aaron,

Hope you'll consider coming to Newtown, Pa the weekend of May 20-22 "Takin' it to the Street" should be a blast... see Local Events for more details.

Also, Darryl is having a detail day in Sterling, VA April 2...

Jeff, We picked up a set of 968 wheels from Anchorman last year that were in decent shape but in need of refinishing. Hopefully we'll be dropping them off with Darryl soon to get them back to new. Right now I've got chrome 996 wheels that came with our 968 on the car and I'm REALLY looking forward to getting rid of them. Our intent is to return our 968 to a completely stock appearance.

Jay, we're definitely going to make it to Darryl's this year and hopefully we can make it to PA. We've still got our 951 in the shop getting sorted for post-engine rebuild issues and it's cutting into our budget for 968-related fun.

We don't care which car you bring, as long as you're a 968er...

There will be a minimum of 3 non-968s in Paso Robles, CA <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/smile.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

Only 3 weeks until the Porsche Only Swap Meet in Hershey, Pa! As you all know, Jeff is arranging for a 968 dinner Friday night and will provide details as soon as he has them. I plan on attending the 968 dinner and will be working in the Concours Area on Saturday. Cosimo - good luck with your search for the glass sunroof this year.

Saturday I was lucky enough to participate in a tour of Don Melusio's car collection. All types of Italian cars are there, but his Prototype Porsche 901 (only 13 made and this is the only known one to exist) was the star of the tour. I attached a few photos below. I am hoping Don enters his 901 in the Concours, it will definitely win a prize. Estimated value $800K - $1M

Don

p.s. Unfortunately, the 1:24 Starter resin model of the 968TRS, Le Mans Version, will not be completed by April 23 but I do have 1:24 models of both the ADAC and Le Mans versions (existing Hasegawa models with correct decals). As always, all of my models will be on display in my 968, which will be parked in the Concours area.

There was no picture, so I guess I would have to E-Mail the seller. Thanks for the tip. Actually right now I am more interested in getting the Turbo and big brakes. The Saratoga top has always been a wantahave.

One other note I will be there Friday night and staying at the Hilton Garden. Was going to stay over Saturday but just realized that the next day is Easter Sunday so I'll be leaving Saturday after the close.

Doreen and I will be joining you guys at Hershey. Should be there Friday afternoon, but will have to head back to Michigan right after the swap meet. (We're hosting the family Easter dinner on Sunday)
