want to go to hershey?
#1

looks like i am going to drag the blue car to hershey again for the swap meet and 968 events

the wife won't be making the run this year (though she might fly in - that saturday is our anniversary, so i might take her to NY for a shopping trip afterward - not sure yet)

i could use a co-driver - it's a long trip, but with a co-driver it's very easy to make it in under 3 days - i've done it in 2.5 days with my wife, including hotel stops

contact me if you are interested - we can discuss logistics

What are the dates? Are there going to be "968 events"? With Don no longer being the organizer, who is stepping into his unfulfillable shoes? (Note: I AM NOT!!! Life doesn't currently allow me the time for such endeavors.)

http://www.cpa-pca.org/events/2010/1-10/sp...precher1-10.pdf

The 2010 Hershey All Porsche Swap Meet will be held on Saturday, April 24th.

Naturally, there will be 968 events. Jeff Coe, Darryl Nichols and myself had a telephone conference several months ago and have been informally planning some events (Kathy Downs will be helping out with the Swap Meet tailgate again!).

We don't want to make any announcements until plans are set, but count on a very social event, that also happens to include our favorite vehicle . We are hoping for a more casual, less corporate event that we have experienced in recent years.

Definately stay tuned.

Jay

And, it would seem, enough "real manliness" to go around also!

Since I am moving back home to Ga. maybe I can make Hershey. Need to figure which car to bring. Is this a 968 exclusive, or Porsche?

never mind, I looked at the site

lol - both

the main event is an all porsche thing - every year there is also a 968 specific thing tied to it

How could 968 GUY possibly debate what car to bring?

Have two, one gets jealous.
Reason I asked abt ann is that if I was still married, Mine would have been on 20th, but I noticed an earlier Flash post,m 24th.

anniversary is on the 24th, same day as the swap meet - that's why i missed it last year - i was in the middle of the piazza in sienna getting married

i also have 2, but no way to drag both, so the blue one goes and the white one stays - could figure out how to drive both, but not thrilled about logging that many miles on the white one, as it is still at about 18k - besides, i built the race trailer for just this reason
