Headlight trim piece removal
#1

Hi all, have just purchased the replacement base rings that go around the bottom of the headlight assembly, when the lights are raised (part no's 944.750.151.00, 944.750.153.00) on my car they had become brittle with age, and copious past repairs with glue were no longer going to work!.

Can anyone tell me how to remove these items from the lamp assembly?, without (i hope) having to remove the entire light pod?? Apart from having to take the new items to the paint shop to get a matching 'Rubystone Red' finish I would hate to have these get broken in my attempts to fit them in situ. they were not cheap at about $35.00 each section !
