gremlins in my fan relay
#1

Im back with more questions and problems!

So the high fan would not turn off today, I waited a few then pulled the relay. I cleaned it a little(i didnt have anything but cloth and concrete) and put the unit back in. I proceded to flog the crap out of my car to get the high fan back on, I even ran with a a new carerra 4 which could not get rid of me <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/tongue.gif" class="smilie" alt="" /> So here's the kicker, i push the car waaaay more than more than I normally do and the temperature guage would not go past 9 o'clock. When everything is said and done, the high fan would not come on and the temp was lower than normal, it usually comes on when I park the car and I wait till the temp guage gets to its lowest point and shut the car off. I did not have to do this as my normal procedure. Was my low fan not working to begin with, im not sure, ill try debugging it more tommorow

I'm going to keep a watch on the fan, hopefully it wont come on tonight and eat up my battery...

It sounds like it is just as you said, the low fan speed was not working prior to your cleaning it.

Im getting better at keeping this car going, I had no idea I would always be fixing something. I still love it, although I can't figure out a name for it ; I think its a girl, those headlights look like boobs to me.
