front turn signals
#1

I have removed my front bumperettes and for a while have had the 993 clear corners. I've hated the fit since day one. Well the other day, I received a hit and run in a parking lot and my bumper was scratched and turn signal cracked. I want to put on the factory amber lenses (no bumperettes). This is a factory part as I understand, does anybody have that part number? Thanks.

ah - the euro lenses - well, you're probably going to have to buy those new - i can't imaine anybody parting with those

you'll find a few of us out there with the stock amber ones, but the euros are likely still on all of our cars

good luck

You can order the amber Euro signal lenses from Sunset Imports http://www.sunsetimports.com/porscheatcost.php (43.86 for left one, 42.75 for right one). Those were the prices when I ordered mine a couple of months ago.

kramermic,

Part # for the right side is 944.631.052.00.

Part # for the left side is 944.631.051.00.

I didn't know the part numbers when I ordered. I just asked for the Euro style turn signal lenses and they knew what I was talking about.

I will be doing a DIY on those turn signals tomorrow morning. Check the DIY section of the website by 12:00 PST tomorrow and I should have it on here.

DIY is done, but I probably won't have time to upload the pics and post until tomorrow.

Its a good time to change your driving light and fog light bulbs if you're planning on it.

If somebody is good with superglue there is a set of euro turn signals embedded in a tire wall at Portland International Raceway. No charge.

Eric, what's the condition? Are there any scratches? Chips? Cracks?

yeah, I know you're joking.

Sunset for 85 bucks sure is cheap, I never thought to try them.

Anybody want to order me a set when they get theirs? I'll pay the additional shipping. Sunset doesn't give a price break to Oregon/Washington people.

Thanks.

I don't know, I think dealer cost + 15% + shipping x2 might still beat retail + shipping.

There was no club race with the Parade so I didn't make the drive.
