Wiper blade length
#1

Decided to buy a new set of wiper blades for the car, as the offside was starting to split, and they were smearing, and squeaking there way across the glass, on the last downpour.. Got some 'Porsche 968' wipers from an E-Bay source, and they were 18", now on my car the drivers side was a 20" blade, and the passenger side was 18" (right hand drive UK spec) the 'new 18" set looks kinda 'odd' on the car, and don't seem to sit well on the glass anyway, so my question is, what length should the wiper blades be?, looking on the PET copy that I have it appears that both wipers have the same part number, so are they 18" or 20", cos I'm not sure now!

My car has 19 on both fronts but hey, if 20 works w/o interference, why not!

Thanks Guys, yup I have fitted the 20" on both fronts, and no problems with interference on the body work, so alls good, and 'extra' clearance on the screen, I was always told size does make a difference !! lol

Warning....I fitted 21'' Drivers with 20'' Passenger ( Uk R/H Drive ) and the 21'' caught the 20''on it's upward sweep
during heavy rain on the Motorway ( Freeway ) and they jammed up..........very scary !

So I now have 20'' Drivers with 18'' Passenger and all works fine. The factory standard is 19'' + 19''

yeah - no way i could run 20" on the cabs - the 60mm shorter windshield would really be a problem
