My windshield wiper motor is driving me crazy. It works fine, but it is unbearably loud. Sounds like it is grinding away in there. Anyone else have this problem and a solution? I didn't see any other threads about this.

Is the noise the actual wiper across the glass?
If so, try clay baring the window.

If it's the motor, you may need to clean and grease the linkage.
This may require removal of the motor and linkage.

mrmister, same here.... sounds like sand in the armature... it kills me... it looks like a BEEEEG job.
Luckily not much rain now and we are heading into winter so I won't use my wipers till November when the rain starts again.
