Yes, I have the AJ 930S wheel w/ the Porsche crest on my 88' 911 Cab, I do like that wheel.
One of the guys at Sunset told me the shaft size is diff. on the 968 which is why the spacer/adapter that works on the 911 will not work w/ this car. I'll see when I take the wheel off. I had to have the spacer for the 930S wheel on the '88 because my fingers nearly got pinched in the dash the wheel was so close (w/o the spacer).
On a side note, lovely day for a drive in the '88 911 with the top down today here in Nashville. As much as I would have liked finishing up the 968 and NOT having to go look at fabric swatches a nice brisk drive was just what the doctor ordered. We're expecting rain from Sun. night thru Tues sometime so we'll enjoy it while we can.

umm.. the wheel base is not fitting in the hub like it should. The turn signal clicker thing does not fit where the OEM does. This is the wheel that Eric is talking about in the first post... would like to put it on but doesn't look like it will work.
BTW.. my car is leak free and i drove approx 100 trouble-free miles since i got it back. <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/laugh.gif" class="smilie" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/laugh.gif" class="smilie" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/laugh.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />
I don't want to put the OEM wheel back.. what should i do?

[quote name='bob blackwell' date='Apr 11 2006, 03:27 PM']Order the adapter from cargraphics, that is what I did to get mine to fit. Good luck, Bob Blackwell.

What's the adapter called? Is there a part number? Perhaps a link to the product. Thanks.

[quote name='bob blackwell' date='Apr 11 2006, 07:22 PM']Sorry, looking through all my receipts I cannot find it. I just ordered the adapter to mount the 930S steering wheel to the 968 shaft. I can't find the website anymore either. Good luck, Bob Blackwell.

OK.. the hub i have still is about 1/4 off ... it seemed like it would fit... but too snugly. I couldn't turn the wheel without the whole turn signal/cruse housing turing also. Perhaps i'll acquire one of those other hubs...
I connected my old steering wheel back and the idiot and air bag light are on.. Everything is connected like it was prior to installation. Is there a way to reset the system other than disconnecting the battery?
