I had carbon buildup around tailpipe. figure the Auto Authority chip was running engine too rich even with air box mod....exchanged for original chip.



Anyone else find this?....or suggest a different aftermarket chip?

Oh boy!...this is a VERY well worn topic...



Do all the reading you can on chips, search high and low...



and then buy the RS Barn chip....

I had an autothority chip. It does run rich. Switched to the RSB chip and it was much better.

My PO installed the Racer X chip, and I have read that it was the best overall chip for our car... is that not the case with the ABM (which I just completed 2 days ago....)?



Best price/place for the RSB chip?

All of the aftermarket chips add power, RS Barn's is the best IMO

I removed the Autothority chip and replaced it with Jay's original OEM chip. Car was pinging a lot.
