Cargraphic Cat-Back
#1

Hi,

Today I installed the cat-back system from Cargraphic on my car, it makes a difference performance wise as it improves the sound...just some pictures to share....The car is now running with the stock exhaust manifold & Cat. The resonator has been replaced by two pipes, which run all the way up to the rear muffler.

Too bad there isn't an easy way to hear this and other systems out there...

Is it possible to post an installed pic?

Looks nice out of the car...

Would you describe the new sound as deeper or higher pitched?

Oddly enough I checked the Cargraphic web-site and there's nothing listed for 968[?]. Was your system special order?

I recently installed the full Cargraphic exhaust, with the mid-box. Can report a noticeably deeper note, more of a growl. Definitely an improvement over standard.

Have you gone to the cargraphic.de website? You can see it there.

Did you also replace the Cat?? I am afraid if I will change the Cat to a sport Cat I am loosing to much back presure, because I do not have the mid box anymore.....

Yes, the whole system is changed cat and all. Haven't really noticed any loss in low end torque. I am using the chip from transaxle-motorsport in germany, really made a difference with the low end.

norway - yeah - probably a close wash there on the torque numbers, but if you're having more fun with the car, that's the important thing

rutger - not only is that a potential problem, but it changed the mixture on my car - it appears that the size of the cat helps determine what the computer tells the system to do - the tiny cats caused my car to run rich down low, especially when cold - it was so bad i was sooting my exhaust tip very quickly - even the one i have now is not big enough - i will likely be changing to a larger one very soon

this is one thing porsche got right, and i have not been able to improve on it

Any chance we could get some sound / video clips of this exhaust as well? <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/happy.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />
