Cam Timing
#1

I am ready to go through the procedure to time the cam. When I apply air pressure to the tensioner it blows out the hole on the back side of the solenoid. This hole looks as if it is in the correct position to lubricate the cam chain and chain block. When I put my finger over the hole the tensioner lowers position. When I release my finger it returns to the upper positions.

Is this working correctly. Nothing in the procedure mentions having to block this hole.
