#1

I just looked all over the forum for the post...............but didn't you ask for interest in a carbon fiber top cover to replace the fabric boot? If so, how as the interest?

That must have been it. Wouldn't it be cool though if we could get a solid cover and get rid of that damn boot?

Man, one of those double humper covers like the speedster I think would really be trick. Gotta fit in the trunk though for storage. Then where would the golf clubs go??

I put the boot cover on my friends M Roadster this weekend. It was much easier then the 968, it's a stiffer material and only had 4 tenax snaps to put it on. BMW also includes a nice clip on piece of fabric to protect your plastic window when in the down position.

I'd be game for a hard cover. Maybe fold into thirds to solve that "how to fit it in the trunk" problem. Then there's weight, too. But yeah, I'm down with that.

not sure how it will look though, and if it would be any worse for the rear view issue than what we already have - i sure wish they made the top go down just a bit more, and sacrificed the back seats entirely
