Pic request- Techart 968 cab rear wing
#1

Okay- I have a Techart 968 cab rear spoiler. Trying to decide if I am going to install it or not. If anyone has photos of this on a 968, I would love to have a copy to help me decide.

TIA

I know I've seen Eric's midnight blue cab with the wing, but I am hoping to see a lighter colored cab with the wing... Can't recall seeing such a photo.

Thanks Gene!

Looks nice to me- especially without the 3rd brake light and the 968 logo...

Well, that pushes me towards installing it.

I would add an LED third light into the lip of the spoiler. There are several cars out there that would a good fit. However...Think about how you will be covering up the hole left by the 3rd light you are removing. As someone who really wants a SP 968 BAD, I don't know if I could bring myself to alter anything. Now if it were white, all bets are off and the spoiler in my garage would be mounted on the car for sure. Good luck!

Gene-

If I do add the rear wing, I will probably try to find a used rear deck lid. I don't want to alter the original. That way, I can delete the cab 3rd brake light and try to integrate something on the wing if necessary.

Just not sure where I would store the original trunk lid and not piss off the Mrs!!!!!

The Techart rear spoiler looks really really good on the Cab. I would without a doubt have one if i owned a cab.

I just picked up a cab rear wing from ebay. Was that someone from the forum??? In any case, does anyone have a picture from the side or front of a car with it installed? I bought it more just to say I have one so if I don't install it I'm ok with storing it in the garage. If I like how it looks on the car even better.

Nobody has a side view of this thing, I'm guessing its not as pretty from the side or front. Anyone?

Why is it that doing mods to the car seems to piss off the Mrs?

As Jay Leno said to his wife about his cars - "I can either come home smelling of oil and petrol, or come home smelling of cheap perfume - your choice". He has over 150 cars and his wife is happy.

Doing mods to our cars keeps us grounded, we get to "hunt" for parts, and gives us a sense of satisfaction (and sometimes defeat), but it keeps us interested in something other than "wandering" and ours wives chastise us for it.

Women - cant live with them and you can't live without them!

Also, does it seem that women have this compulsion to throw everything out, while men seem to want to keep everything?

Are we really from different planets (Mars and Venus)?

Ok, enough philosophy for this morning.

The Techart spoiler looks great. The photo of the lowered white cab on 18"s makes me want a cab (even though it is not as good as the coupe).
