WOW what a fantastic Celebration at Hershey it was!! Don a big Thank You for all your hard work, as always ever thing was organized and just plain fun. Right from the dinner to the ending at the tech session we had a ball. To our friends Doreen and Richard so good to see them again, to Kathy and the beautiful spread of food, and visiting with your lovely wife Elka it was great. To all the folks who attended and we didnt get to talk with, thanks for comming and next year we will be sure and say hello. We are already planning to attend next year. Take care, Happy Driving in a Porsche

What a weekend we had and it was great to see everybody. Don has asked me to take over the show setup for next year so I have some big shoes to fill. Plus, we can only go downhill in the weather department from 2009.

Jeff,

I'd like to put in my request now for 5 degrees cooler and a few more passing clouds.
This should give you plenty of time to work it.

Thanks for agreeing to take over. I was worried that my first Hershey Gathering would be the last.
Let me know if I can do anything to help with the planning for next year

Thanks,
Jamie

Jamie,
I'll see what I can do but really, if you have seen the monsoon that we had a few years back then you'd know how well we made out.

Yes, I will get some prints up this week. I was away for a week following the celebration so I have been a little slow getting my act together.
Hopefully you checked out the pics Don posted on 968reister.

Paul,

Thanks for posting, I did have some trouble viewing the film, it may be just my computer.

Yes, all photos that I took of the 2009 968 Gathering in Hershey have been posted on www.968register.org

Thanks guys - we'll be posting from the Paso trip as well. Its a lot of fun to share these cross coast events for the vast majority of us who won't make it across.

One thing I have noticed. We WestCoasters seem to be a bit, um, monochromatic in our thinking. 5 blacks (mine one of them) 2 whites, 2 mid blues this past weekend. Most exotic we had was iris, cobalt, and horizon - all beautiful colors, but not the wild stuff you folks have on the EastCoast. I always look forward to checking out the Hershey pics to see what will show up this year...

Hey Rxter,

Iris Blue (D3), Cobalt Blue Metallic (F6) and Horizon Blue Metallic (F4) were neat colors to have at your West Coast event.
My favorite color, if I bought another 968, would be Himbeerrot Metallic (L83E) - the fellow who had this car in Phoenix sold it a while ago.

Bottom line, a bunch of 968s gathered anywhere in the USA is always a beautiful sight to see!

Flash, congratulations on your event, it looks like everyone had a blast!
