Mavs and Mochas, an offshoot of the Maverick Region Porsche Club of America is featuring various Porsche models each month and they have selected October 14th as a date to feature the 968 in Ft. Worth.  Their meetings are usually from 8 am to 10:30 am and are well attended.  If you're in the area and are interested in attending, stay tuned for more details.

<p style="color:rgb(40,40,40);font-family:helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">For those in the area that are interested in attending, Mavs and Mochas is highlighting the 968 during their October 14th gathering.  I have agreed to help them with getting the word out and getting as many cars to attend as possible.  It would be amazing to see 20 to 30 968's gathered in one place and there are surprisingly a lot of 968s in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area.

I am very happy you will be joining us!    I think the two cars would look amazing parked next to each other....a cab and coupe both Iris Blue!

 

If you don't mind, would you send your email address to mine at roboto928@gmail.com so we can create a list of possible attendees?  I would like to develop a count so we can ensure enough spaces are blocked off for the 968s.  I'm hoping to have 20 cars.

Any 968 drivers in the Dallas Fort Worth Area_

 

 October 14th Mavs and Mochas (in connection with Maverick Region PCA) will host their monthly event which will celebrate the fantastic 968. 
 
The event will be held at the beautiful new facilities of Texas Harley Davidson whose parking lot has plenty of space to host the members' cars.  The address is 1 Texas Harley Way in Bedford.
 
This is not a competitive car show but rather a gathering of some 100+ local Porsche owners to enjoy meeting each other and celebrate the diverse models over the years.  The 968s will enjoy exclusive reserved parking. 
 
Please let me know if you can bring your 968 out to the event.  These cars are rare and it would be a treat to see 10 to 20 show up for the show.  Furthermore, the 968 will be featured in Slipstream for the month of October. You want to be part of this feature!
