Hey Jason -

I think white on your car would be sweet.

Also, I know a few guys who paint all their track wheels white thinking it will help you inspect the wheels for cracks, etc. more easily. So there is some functional purpose as well.

Best,

Jim

Ok, I'll join in. Just my two cents: Renalicious, I do like your white car with the white wheels....somehow it looks natural and sportin'. And I like matching wheels on track cars, again, somehow natural for that setting.

In general, though, I'd rather have my eye drawn to the beautiful lines of our cars rather than to the wheels. I never tire of looking at the gentle but muscular flare of the fenders. To expand on flash's analogy...jewelry should complement a woman's beauty, not outshine it.

(Which reminds me of a story when some of us girls were discussing how much time we spend picking JUST the right earrings to go with our outfits, and made the mistake of asking the guys who were listening in, what their thoughts were....they said "Heads? Girls have heads?" I no longer take so much time on earrings.)

I've never regretted going for White Walls on my car. They're such an attention grabber on the track, you wouldn't believe.

Yes, but wouldn't amethyst wire wheels look better? Are those 13's or 14's?

OK,

I went and powder coated them black...

I figured, if they were white, they would look dirty after 1 lap at the track.

This way, if they are black, my wheels will look clean all the time!

I'll get pictures out some time, too.
