My 968 is a 1994 Coupe. Recently, I have had a mysterious warning light come on in the right hand instrument group. When you turn the ignition on to the first position all of the instrument warning lights come on as they should if the light source is not burned out. On my car when you switch the ignition to start everything goes out as it should, if everything is normal. Except that one light remains on. At the top of the right hand instrument group there is a downward facing arrow head that is positioned directly above the brake fluid warning light. It isn't identified in my owners manual so I have always assumed that it served as warning to direct your attention to the brake fluid level warning. However, I checked the brake fluid level and it is where it should be. So I'm beginning to think it isn't related to the brake fluid.
On another post I see where a forum member has window washer fluid level indicator that needs to be replaced on his 1994 coupe. He talks about a window washer fluid level warning light, but my owners manual makes no mention of such a light. Is it possible that the light I am inquiring about is the washer fluid level? I have a leak in my washer tank so I can only fill it about half full.
Any ideas?
