My transaxle has a very small oil leak from around the edge of the case cover. For sure it's just a gasket that got compressed too tight. Is there a relatively easy fix? It's hardly bad enough to worry about but it's something I plan to fix. Any chance that the side plate (driver's side) bolts can be loosened and the plate pulled out enough to squirt in a little form-a-gasket or something similar to stop the weeping? Or are there gears attached to the sides or some other unseen gotcha? Anybody been there, done that?
