Anyone have an estimate of cost to replace timing belt (water pump as well) from mechanic and or dealer?

If someone has a recommendation for repair center near Queens NY would be appreciated as well.

1500 plus parts. time consuming job. I have a mechanic in Central NJ, but that may be too far. PM me if interested.

If the car is drivable I would make an appointment and take it to Pete at RS Barn. At least you know it will be done right and hopefully Pete or Max will not find anything else wrong while car is there. In the worst case scenario, you can take the train back from Philly and into NYC if you would have to leave the car.
