Seat covers?
#1

Anyone have any suggestions for reasonable seat covers that fit our seats? My 968 is pretty beat up and I'm not interested in getting the seats recovered at this point, but I wouldn't mind something. The drivers side has about a 3" by 7" exposed area where the leather has completely come off.

Thanks!
Mark

www.iggee.com/ is thee best. Their seat covers for the 968 fit like a glove, literally, and they are not expensive. I found their material faded within 6 months as I have a convertible. I sent them my material which they used at no extra charge to make my seat covers. I will send pics and the price I paid when I get to my home computer.

back when i was looking for new seat covers that were reasonable, i found that the produce aisle at the grocery store was a much better source than my local pub or nightclub

Does she know that you refer to her as a "seat cover"?

What is this, a " honey, does this cover make my seat look big ? " thread

I checked out the site, the $ 200 cost for both seats is certainly a lot cheaper than having them redone and probably a decent quality temporary solution, IMO, though as much as they do claim the covers fit skin-tight and you'll get that OEM look I doubt it will look like anything else than what it is.. a seat cover.

I saw a company at a car show that had both a Porsche and Cadillac seat on display advertising there seat covers. They were the best I've seen as far as fit goes but the material looked a little cheap. Also wonder how much of a part the professional installation played in the fit being so good.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was the iggee brand

I would also imagine that they had never been sat in. Take them on a a 1000k journey and I bet they start to look "no so factory fitting" as the wrinkles and stretch marks start to show up. After all they are "S. LEAHTER"; a spelling mistake the web site proclaims over and over. Ah the curse of cut and paste.
