Just need a little carbon fiber and brushed aluminum to spiff those up

Wait, were they not available in carbon fiber? No worries, stick a couple of sheepskin shoulder pads on them and you're good to go.

The glow from the neon LEDs will highlight this very appealing look...

My new harness is red, too, which will nicely match the red Corbeau seat I bought from Pablo Crespo, which I'm planning to use as my passenger seat (with the stock gray seat belt). With the black Sparco Evo as the drivers seat in my classic gray interior, everything should blend together in perfect harmony. Hey, it's a track... car

in a race car, red belt s make sense. easier to see them to get you out in a crash or fire

would probably fit right in with the kids in the ricers though. time to start shopping for a big wing and figuring out where you want all your stickers

I prefer black seatbelts but I don't think it is fair to label these 'ricer'. Porsche has had the deviated color seat belt as option for years, long before the 'Fast & Furious' trend began. Those guys just took everything car related into a direction we didn't ever want to see.

it's defined by it's frequency. where you see it most is what you call it. i only see it in ricers.

lol - i'm thinking he should get a wrx and be a lot happier

Hmmm... A WRX would definitly be faster than a 968. I'm on the east coast so probably not going to make it to Paso. There is a Zone 1 concours in May down in New Hampshire at the Red Hook Brewery. I hear there will be some 968's there. I'm hoping to make it with my tasteless ricer Porscharu.

roflmao - cool. if you think i'm harsh, enter your car in a PCA concours. those guys will nail you for not having your center caps pointing in the right direction. they'll have a field day with the ricer touches.

i'm far from a purist. i just outgrew loud and garish decades ago. i can't say i didn't do things to my cars when i was younger that many thought were just as questionable in taste and style.

but, it's your car

PCA cooncours guys are too anal retentive, they need to get a life.

Red seatbelts are not "ricer" touches. Hello Kitty , Dalmatians or Leopard print seatbelts on the other hand...

Taste and style is subjective, although since I am the world's foremost authority regarding what defines taste and/or style, just follow my lead on any questions or validations of opinions you might have on the topic

I never said I was entering my car in the actual concours. Just want to meet a few 968 owners that will be there and look at some nice Porsches. My car is a track rat and I like it. Bought the belts from Maxspeed Motorsports. $219 including 2 way shipping. Send them yours they send them back like this.

Actually, my next mod will some more fake carbon fiber. This time I'm headed out to the back of the car. The rear end is a little to plain for me. It think these will dress it up...

I think some carbon fiber windshield wipers and splash guards are in order next.
