        I felt that my trunk '968' logo stood out against my polar silver paint. The factory black color was not very subtle. Detailing the numbers in the body color involved removal, which after 10 years, proved to be quite easy due to the adhesive drying out and crumbling off.

The best way to put the logo back on was to buy a new set from Porsche.

There was a double bonus to be found when I searched through Porsche Boxter parts at Stuttgart Performance. Porsche did not change the size, style or font from the 968 logo, but just reversed the 8 and 6. I purchased a stock 986 logo set and replaced my black ones with a factory stock set in silver...fresh from Porsche!

Great mod for my polar silver for very little cost and a half hour of work.

Perhaps some of you will follow with your polar silver cars, or maybe other colors may benefit.

I don't want subtle. I like to confuse people with the 968 so I'd like to change out my black on black 968 logo with something else.

Change it out with the silver one like I did; that will really "pop" on a black finish!

If you want to confuse...rearrange the 3 numbers. How about 989, or ?
