Rear Spolier Removal - how?
#1

Hello, i recently purschased a great 1993 968 CS with the M030 pack (Recaro fixed seats, LSD etc) as a weekend fun car. The car also came with a front Turbo RS splitter and rear spolier. I would like to fit the rear RS spolier as it was not fitted on sale, std one was. I am not sure how to go about this, and couldnt find any instructions anywhere. appreciate any insights or links to where I can find some instructions on how to go about this. Tks

I assume it's the same as on the non CS car? If so, start by removing the rear window side trim by unscrewing the weird little slotted round nuts; I made my own tool to do this by modifying a screwdriver with a dremel tool. Caution: don't remove the very front part of the trim as it is usually glued in place... just spread the rear pieces a bit until you can access the allen head bolts and/or nuts holding the spoiler in position. I had to remove the piece holding the 3rd brake light, but I don't recall if that was necessary to remove the spoiler. Once you get into the rear edges, you will see what needs to be removed to get the spoiler off.
