Wow, my bad, I was thinking of the wrong place. I completely retract my statement about AIR. I have seen some nice stuff from them, but don't have any experience myself. I feel like a grade A jackass.
Air products are designed more for race car applications and not so much for street cars. The quality of the work is not what some of you would expect for a street car. I have an Air Turbo S spoiler on my car. I custom ordered the adjustable piece in carbon fiber. It was a pretty bad job. I did have my body shop man smoothen out the fiberglass side the best he could before painting. The edges of the CF adjustable center looked really bad...he blended them in (he is the man) with paint. you would be hard pressed now to realize the edges are all painted. and then he clearcoated the whole thing.
Again...unless you have someone who is really good...i would not recommend buying the rear spoiler from AIR....you wont be a happy camper when you get it in the mail. On the plus side, it is way way way lighter then the OEM spoiler.....and now looks great.
The other thing that bugged me are the screws that are used arnt stainless. They all have rust surfacing on them now...so i need to source some stainless replacement screws for the adjustable brackets.
Im generally happy with the product, but it took time and effort to get it right.
The front splitter is also fiberglass. I'm going to call and ask if they can make me a carbon fiber unit which i will just clearcoat. I have cracked a few of the fiberglass ones now. And need yet another one.
