I've got a 968 Sport which doesn't come with rear speakers or the wiring in place. I'm looking to retro fit some as two weak front speakers don't really give a half decent sound. Roughly how do the wires run from the head unit to the rears?

i believe the harness runs under the carpet along the door sill



if you are going to install rear speakers, take a look at the "rear speaker enclosure mod" thread in the "stereos, navs and gadgets" area

Correct, pull the door sills and there is room along the carpet, or maybe even slightly under it, to run wiring. I'm guessing you'll have the necessary openings in the body.

Thanks for the info, already got my eye on the enclosure mod seems like a good and simple upgrade.



All the openings seem to be there just no wiring. Again something easy to fix now I know where to run the wires.
