radio question
#1

My drivers side speaker does not work, neither the small or larger speakers on the lower door panel. All the wiring from the radio appears to be in place, could it be the round component near the speakers, an amp possibly? thanks, any way to check and confirm the problem.

Frank, you need to do a search, esp. in the Modifications section. Problems like this have been discussed before.

I had the same problem in my car and it was the wire running between the stereo and the speakers in the door. I ran a new wire and it's now fine. Running the wire is a bit of a pain, as you have to get the inner door panel off. It's not too hard, though.

The wires in the car doors break eventually from all the flexing at the hinge point when the door is opened and closed. Since the driver's door is used more than any other, it is always the first one with the symptoms.
