Radiator cap
#1

Anyone know if a 928 radiator cap fits our coolant reservoirs? 928 Motorsports sells a 5# low pressure cap that I want to try. One advantage of the Evans waterless coolant I'm using now is the ability to run the system at lower pressures.

you can probably do better by just using the stant catalog.

Worth a try, but the Stant catalog only shows 16psi caps for the 968.

yeah - i'd be going to the store, looking at caps that fit, and then going through the catalog for the right one.

Not sure if my friendly neighborhood AutoZone will let me run in and out of the store trying to see what caps fit. But having some confirmation that the 928 cap will fit at least tells me there is a cap I can buy that accomplishes what I want. Albeit at a high price.

lol - take the cap in the store with you. then find one that is the same physically. then use the catalog to determine a cross fit with the right pressure.

The caps swap between my 1987 928S4 and my 1992 968. Just tried it.
