didn't like that cable crossing on top of the cam cover, and threaded it trough, did you ? think I'll do the same. and speaking of cables / wires, just where does the variocam cable / wires go ?

We can only see the top with the rubber cap on it and then it gets tucked somewhere under the cover, but where is the other end ? Not seeing anything on the other side <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/sad.gif" class="smilie" alt="" /> .

The big cable is for the cruise control and it is suposed to be routed under the plug wire cover. If yours is on top then it will probably be sawing a groove in the cover. Just unbolt the cover and put it on top of the cable. Don't disconnect the cable anywhere.



The variocam wires tuck into a wiring harness under there. Look at it whern you re-route the cable.
