Well I guess that's the difference between a 'Splitter' and a 'Spoiler' in that one is used for disrupting the air while the other is used for downforce and then there are those that would do both. Like the one on the Red Rennsport car above.

Oh, and there is a guy on Rennlist looking to do a run of Urethane front splitters on the 944 Turbo and Turbo S forum. Might help alleviate the cracking of the f/g ones?
