Did the deal last week and went to pick it up last night...only did it because it was too cheap to pass up! It is pretty rough in a couple of areas and the interior is actually pretty decent, but it can certainly be used for semi daily use...drive it while you fix it. Now I have a car to beat around in and maybe finally do some DE or Autocross...time permitting!
I had originally had this car at my shop and was selling it for the previous owner and now 11 months later, turns out the guy I sold it to can't afford the insurance and cost(s) required to give it the much needed TLC. They contacted me to see if I'd be interested and I just happen to have the cash on hand, so I figured why not? There are quite a few things to sort out and I still have my original list and the PPI from a year ago, so I'll start knocking things out one by one. My initial plans are to tastefully mod this car with lots of the goodies we all know and love. Basically, as I run across things that need to be fixed or replaced, I'll do it with aftermarket, better, more fun stuff. I can then keep my cab all stock and use the coupe as the guinea pig!
I'd post some pics, but it's just a regular 'ol Amazon Green coupe. The only neat option is the deviating dark gray/linen deviating interior. Perhaps Jeff can let me know how many were produced like this but it seems 93 Amazon Green coupes are a "dime a dozen". Evidently, Porsche had overstock on that color paint for this model year! I do need to get rid of the Design 90 rims, but that will most likely wait until I need tires.
