PCA - Reisentoter, Spring Fling Fun Run
#1

Cross-posted from Reisentoter PCA Forum. I have been on Wayne's runs in the past and they are a lot of fun. Some of you may recognize the route from my previous Covered Bridge tour. Beautiful Bucks County scenery and nice twisty roads. It would be awesome to have a huge 968 turnout!- JAY

Spring Fling: Saturday May 8th, 2010
Lambertville, NJ

A spirited drive along the Delaware River and through the quiet back-roads and covered bridges of Bucks County, PA. Come equipped with a camera, your Porsche and ready for a ride to blow the winter cobwebs off your car.

It will be a good run. Pennsylvania has more covered bridges than any other state, and Bucks County has more covered bridges than any other county in Pennsylvania.

I'm in, Jay, and already let Wayne know when the event was announced. Hope we get some 968s to attend....

Hey Jerry, was just thinking about you, wondering if you will make an appearance at Hershey. Naturally you'll want to hang with those "real" Porsches, but if you would deign to honor us with your presence you would be most welcome.

Looking forward to seeing both of you on May 8th. Wayne plans a great run and there are a huge number of serious Porschephiles. These runs usually gather 50-100 cars. I may even get to lead a pack this time around.

Regards,

Jay

There is typically a "Tourist" group, mainly comprised of 356's, 912's, etc.

I will NOT be leading that group

We will only break the group if it gets over 50-60 cars...most people know where they want to fall into the order. The few that are incorrect, generally figure it out pretty quickly.

Wayne once commented publicly about my "spirited" pass of a nearly new Carrera, I'm sure he doesn't relegate 968s to the back (believe I've run in the # 3 or 4 spot in the previous runs ).

Let's have a great showing of 968s!!!

Thanks for the wishes!

It would be really cool if we had a whole run group of 968s...I have been the only 968 in a large pack, but its more fun to share

Sorry to announce that ths event has been cancelled. The organizer ran out of time to make this happen, but promises to reschedule.
