October 2010 PANORAMA
#1

There is a 968 on page 50 of the October 2010 issue of PANORAMA. Does it belong to anyone here?

I showed the picture to my 17 year old daughter and she said: "Wow! Your car is in the magazine!". Well it's not mine, but it sure is a good looking cab! Great picture of some great looking cars and a fabulous road!

Another question: On page 20 of the same issue there is an add for Fast Lane Travel which seems to have a 968 as their logo. Does anyone agree with that assumption? Or am I just "seeing things"?

It might be Colorado Cab?

I agree the logo for Fast Lane Travel looks

like a 968.

The thought did go through my mind that it might be Colorado Cab!

Is it though...

Yep - that's us, in one of the rare moments when we were with the group. At a few points in that tour, we just couldn't go as slow as the group, so made some passes and off we went! Missed one photo op, but it sure was fun descending a long mountain pass on our own (at a healthy clip). Didn't get to drive the car much this year, and it's now back in storage for 6 months or so, but we did have some fun with it!

And yes, Fast Lane Travel does use a 968 in their logo!

Planning a trip to the Rockies/Denver April next year. How dodgy is the weather that time of year Chris? I really don't want to get caught in a snow storm again.
