968 Turbo RS On Panorama Cover
#1

Check out the cover of June 2008 Porsche Panorama and the inside article about the 968 and the very rare 968 Turbo RS. It really surprised me to see such coverage of our beloved 968 at this point. Enjoy and good luck, Bob Blackwell.

Very good article with lots of barely-concealed truths about the real reason the 968 Turbo RS had such a short life... reasons that are easy to translate to the street car's small air intake and easily upgraded ECU...

Maybe Oliver Stone can make a movie about it <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/wink.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

I surprised no one mentioned it before but that car was at our Hershey 968 Gathering last year.

Racing is filled with what ifs. The 968 turbo

could have done well in its class, if given a

chance.

Yea, well Porsche will not let their beloved 911 lose to any car they create, even on accident. <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/tongue.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

Think of all those short run cars that slipped through. The 914-8, 924 GTS, and the 968 Turbo.

All axed to keep the 911 on the top. <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/blink.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

I'm sure the "Cayman Turbo" will soon join the list. <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/rolleyes.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />
