New to the forum...Like to say hello!
#1

Hello All,

I just joined this forum and would like to say hello. In a couple days I will be picking up a '94 968 Midnight Blue. This car has been absolutely babied and pampered. I will continue that care. I am in the Bay Area and hope to meet a few of you who live here as well. Before I went to take a look at it, I came to this site to get educated more on this car. This site has been so helpful. This will be my first Porsche but I think I made the right choice. Again Hello and I look forward to being a part of this forum.

I live here in the South Bay in Milpitas. Looking to move soon though. Milpitas is too close to the land fill. Depending on which way the wind blows, dictates when I leave the windows open or I run the AC.

No! you can't buy les's car! I've been trying desperately to do so(and haven't been able to yet due to issues with my finance company that I'm trying to sort out).

(to be fair, I did tell Les not to wait on me... I know he's in a hurry to sell... but I don't want to see it sold to someone else)

Well, if you do buy it, it's a great car in great shape.

Sorry my friend. I don't mean to ruin your day. It is a great car though. Want you to know that I will take very good care of it if it helps you feel a little more at ease. Meaning that it will go to a good home and not to someone who will trash the car.

Saxman, there's plenty of beautiful examples out there. Hang in there, you'll find the one that was meant for you.

KodomoKid, congratulations on the car. What company do you work for up there. My brother lives right there and works for Cisco.

Thank you all for the warm welcome. This place is a refreshing change form some of the VW forums. Classy group of people here it seems. The midnight blue caught my eye first. I'm going to enjoy this car.

BTW Rustech: My company is about a half mile away from the Cisco buildings.
