My car has been running a little warm at the track recently...temp's are showing a solid 250 if I push it. They drop down if I take it easy, but then everybody I passed then gets to catch up to me!
So I removed the stock unit and had a BAT 22 X 8 oil cooler installed. It fits in front of the radiator and actually seems to be just about the entire length of the radiator.
I'm hoping this will do the trick...I'll be at Summit Point, WV this coming Monday and Tuesday (7/24-7/25) with Metro NY and with the recent warm weather we're having, it looks like I'll need every bit of that oil cooling.
Another nice thing, it adds about 1 quart to my oil capacity now!
