Where to find 4 by 6 speakers - non coaxial
#1

Anyone know where to look for 4 by 6 speakers for the doors? I'd like a kit with separate tweeters and not the usual 2-way/coaxial stuff. Regular round ones are pretty common but I don't want to chop my doors and I would like not having to go down to round 4" speakers.

pioneer - they make both a 2 way and a 3 way - i have the 3 way ones in the white car - i got them through crutchfield and got the slim enclosures for them through parts express

I'm confused. "Regular round ones are pretty common but I don't want to chop my doors "?
The speakers in my doors are already round (Infinity components) and I would have to chop to put in 4*6?
Is this a cab and therefore different from a coupe?

Dave,

my car has 4x6 in the doors - I guess that there where a lot of different sound system options - and I meant that I don't wanna cut the doors(sides) to get anything bigger in there, like 5,25s or 6,5s. I could put in 4s but they won't move much air.

Maybe I'll go down the four in the door route and add 6,5" mid bass in the back (6,5 coaxial in there right now). I just need to find speakers that'll be happy with 45W RMS.
