I have a set of Gemaballa Lemans wheels I bought last year with the intent of using them on my 996 in the winter. I ended up selling the car last month. The wheels are really nice 5 spokes, never on a car. I put them up for sale on rennlist and a guy told me they would fit my 968. I have my doubts, but I would like an opinion before putting them on and trying it, and risking scratching them up a little in the process.
Fronts are 8.5 x 18 ET 47, rears are 11 x 18 ET 62. I had some all season tires put on the wheels so I could just change them out in the garage this winter when or if it got cold. They are 225 x 40s and 295 x 30s. I 've had 10 x 18s on my 968 before and they were tight, but I can't remember if there was any more room or not. If I can make them work, I would like to put them on the 968, rather than sell them. No one is buying much of anything now anyway, and I'll never get what they're worth. I have at least three other sets of wheels that do fit the 968, and most of them would sell quickly and cheap. These Gemballas have the cup2 look, but have small polished lips all the way around, silver spokes, and are pretty light weight.
