Great dat for Porsche Racing
#1

Watched racing for most of the day. First was the ALMS event in Utah. That crafty Penske had the right strategy and the RS Spyder came in first overall. The GT2 was disappointing with the Ferrari winning again but Porsche came in second. Then off to the DP at Laguna Seca on Speed channel. Porsches were in the running all day and again with some great strategy again by Alex Job, the Ruby Tuesday was in front with about an hour to go. They never relinguished the lead. Running low on gas and a certain splash and go and the race lead out came a full course yellow. Auberlin (BMW) was bumping cars all day. What a putz. Bergmeister had to go to the reserve tank and literally coasted to the win. INTENSE ending. Also the day before Porsches won the GT event with a one, two place. DR ferry must have been pleased.

Wow Cosimo, what a weekend, with the Annapolis Gathering on Saturday and racing all week you must be Porsche Saturated...(is that possible???)

Great to see you and Ann again, it's always a good time!

Never get enough Porsche racing especially with all the wins last weekend. Hope you and Melva had an trouble free trip back. Sorry you had such a frustrating time with DC traffic. It certainly is a mess around here.

I spent the afternoon rebuilding the front porch. I knew both of those races were on and it was killing me.

We should stop now...

I did not make VIR this year. I am starting to think this is my year to not make it to events. Planning on going to the Gold Cup Historics in June.
