My New Wheels Arrived
#1

Wheels were delivered to the house today while I was at work, glad I live in Mayberry RFD since the UPS guy has standing orders to leave things by the garage.

Now to get it onto a tow truck since it sounds like a jet engine in in my engine bay that is going to blow up at least it will look good on the flatbed going down the road. LOL

Ah guess I should edit and say new to me. A person in California replaced these on the 996 he bought and since the guy only wanted a local sale, Flash was kind enough to volunteer to pick them up and ship them. They are RH 3.6 cup wheels that are sold a t number of places - here is one

I need to get it ready for 19 days from now when it will hopefully be driving at Summit not just to it.

I will be at Summit this weekend. Look for me around the IMA trailer. Ivan hopes to have both of the "Blue Beasts" at the track. Come by and I will get you a t shirt. I am now working as Marketing Manager for IMA.

That's one way to get your car to the front of the list when you need work done.

Well that may have some credibility but as a Marketing person, I want to see 100% satisfaction from our customers and be a go between customers and IMA when there is a problem. I have been a customer of Ivan's for 15 years and he has become a good friend. I can't say that I haven't had problems but they have always come thru and fixed them. Sounding too much like a commercial, sorry about that. Anyway I'm excited about working with them and look forward to their new facility.

Rigged a fix on the car long enough to get it out of the garage, of course after 2 shots the camera said "battery exhausted" One of these days I'm going to wash and detail that car.

WOW!

The wheels look great!

What size are the wheels and tires? Are they bolt on or do they require spacers?

Regards,

Art
