My new baby!
#1

Good evening!

I just want to say thanks to all who have helped in the DIY sections and hope this is the beginning of a long relationship! I just purchased a Adventurine Green Metalic 94 coupe. It was love at first sight (my first Porsche). She was well taken care of under the hood, but there are/were some other issues that I have to take care of. I already took care of a damaged wheel bearing (the same rim is bent slightly, so I think he hit a large bump), I have to fix the washer, the hatch glass, and the antenna is damaged (but functional), otherwise, she seems to be in great shape.

Thanks again and I love this site!!

Dave

P.S. FYI, in my line of work, thermal refers to slow, thus NotThermal refers to my baby <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/smile.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

Looks great. This is the place to figure out what to fix, what to watch, and what to live with.

Welcome aboard.

One of the first things you'll need to learn is the spelling of your paint color - there's no "d" in "Aventurine". <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/wink.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

If you "Google" Aventurine, you'll find some interesting info about your unique color.

Dang it Jim, I'm an engineer, not a spelling teacher! <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/smile.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

This is just a base model with a Tip tranny.

Thanks for the warm welcome... hopefully I will not ask too many stupid questions.

Have a great day

Welcome!

You may find a brand new antenna on the auction site.

You've heard this before, but it applies particularly well here - THERE ARE NO STUPID QUESTIONS!!!

If you need to ask it, someone will answer, and others will learn.

Amen to that. I usually partake of the first and third portions of this information string. <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/smile.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />
