MO30 suspension
#1

I've found a MO30 suspension package for sale and need to know if it will fit my non MO30 968. Some searching of the forums suggest I will need alot more than just the struts. I need new front shocks and would like to upgrade the rears too, but wondered how the MO30 set compared to just swapping out for Bilstein HD rears and Koni fronts.

do some more searching - you will find a number of reviews of different setups - there are already a number of threads on this very subject

also, see this:

Thanks Flash an excellent link. I have seen the rear shocks of the suggested MO30 package and they don't have the coil springs - therefore I question the validity of the item. I reckon they could be standard 968 items.

This is the suspension set up on sale. As stated before the rears don't have coil overs - the owner is adamant they are still M030. Any advice? On reflection they look a bit old so I may just wait and get the Koni set up.

They could be an M030 setup from a 944S2 or 951.

Clive, they definately look like there from a 944turbo. If it was me, and dependant on the price, ide be getting a new pair of rear shocks... As they look tired...

Are the hubs + sindles available aswell..??

Hey Dave,

The guy is listing them at $1200NZ so about 450 quid. Seems expensive for 2nd hand and probably as you say not 968 as I would prefer. Haven't managed a quote yet for the new koni's so thats next.

I think the guy can get the hubs etc but imports from the states, not many parts here in NZ to my knowledge hence my initial interest.
