Missing Engine shroud
#1

Was just looking at a 93 cab engine bay and there was a black plastic shroud around / in front of the air cleaner and kind of wraps around it, kinda l looks nice. Why don't I have that in my 94' coupe? Whats up with that ? I don"t even have the mounts for it.

At some point they just ran out and stopped puting them in...my '94 cab (2/94) didn't have them either.

They come up for sale pretty often.

Most of them are missing. Pretty sure all years had them. I could be wrong tho. the front one has a compartment, that originally had gloves, and a first aid kit. IIRC. Mine has a first aid kit anyway. Seen it in others.

edit: Ahh, didnt know they ran out of them, and stopped putting them in. Makes sense considering the economic climate for them at that time.

they were only offered on cars through early 94 - from late 94 on they were deleted - you can tell the difference by the brackets for the shroud, which are not on the later cars

You'll be able to pick up a few dozen after the SC installs I love mine but will let it go just install that boring old SC kit!

What about the rear shroud. Was that deleted in the 95s as well?

Nice, this means that my laziness in putting my shrouds back in was really just "upgrading" my 968 to later style
