Noise when I start the Engine
#1

When I start my engine there is a squeaking sound that last only for a few seconds. Then it goes away. it sounds like a pulley binding sound. Any Ideas?

Probably just a belt that you need to tighten. A/C - alternator belt or power steering belt.

+ 1 on Philippe's post. Just to test the theory, use some belt spray ( one belt at a time so you know which one makes noise ) and if the squeal stops when you start the car, that belt probably needs tightening .

Usually that's when the alternator is replacing the energy used by the starting process. Turn on the headlights and see if it prolongs the squeak. If it does, it's the alternator belt.
