Hi Guys,

 

I was wondering if anybody knows if a 944 manual 5 speed will fit in the 968 without any modifications?

not without modifications, though there are people who have don it, and they don't seem to think it's that bad of a job.  

 

also, unless you go with the 951 box, it won't be strong enough for the 968 engine, and will eventually fail.  even the S2 box that was bolted up to the 3 liter is marginal in that car, and would not hold up well against a 968 engine.  the however, 951 box is actually stronger than our box.
