Recently changed filter, gasket and filled reservoir to mid-point between min and max lines. Started car and while idling the level in the reservoir fell below the minimum line and when the transmission reached the recommended temperature additional fluid was added to reach the mid-point again. I have driven the car approximately 800 miles with no problem(fluid level is at the specified level when hot and when the car is turned off fluid drains into the reservoir to a level above the maximum line.) Yesterday I noticed a puddle of oil under the transmission and found that fluid was coming out of the reservoir thru the tube/cap on top of the reservoir. Has anyone experienced this before? Ideas of what the problem is?
